D ue to an unfortunate accident in a foster home in another part of China,a nation wide policy is taking effect requiring children in foster care to be returned to state run orphanages. My friends sister lives in China and fosters four special needs children. She had to return Abigail to the orphanage, whom she's had for five years). T his is Abigail. She is seven years old now and has Down Syndrome. She is healthy and smart and such a little cutie ! Her foster mom was told that she has been a big help with the other children entering the orphanage from foster care. She knows English and Mandarin too.
